Last Sunday, 21st May, our long-time parishioner and musician, Suzanne Maslen, received her Dempsey Medal at St Mary’s Cathedral together with other recipients across the Archdiocese of Sydney. The Mass was presided by Auxiliary Bishop Richard Umbers. Also in attendance from our parish is Deacon Eddie Ho. Suzanne was joined by her family.

Suzanne received this award for her contribution in coordinating St Cecilia Festival in our parish for 48 years (and counting), and sharing her musical talent to the community. Suzanne is also the longest serving musician here at St Kevin’s Eastwood. Congratulations!
